About Me
I'm a director / cinematographer / teacher with 50 years of experience, having worked on a variety of productions, including TV series, dramas, documentaries, and commercials, in more than 40 countries.
While I've previously used the iPhone for quick pickup shots, my recent focus has shifted towards utilizing it for complete productions.
Apple's groundbreaking use of an iPhone 15 Pro Max to film their October 31, 2023, Apple Event showcased its potential. Recording multiple 4K versions on SSD drives, along with Blackmagic's innovative app development, marks a significant breakthrough. The introduction of Apple Log enhances visuals, resulting in stunning imagery.
Through this website, I aim to share videos and insights on utilizing the iPhone as a cinema camera, alongside updates on new products. Additionally, I'll showcase photos of cages and rigs as filmmakers begin constructing them.
Let’s learn together!
